MBABANE – The Eswatini Youth Enterprise Fund (YEF) is looking to surpass the E10.5 million it has disbursed since 2019 as it continues accepting applications for the next cohort of entrepreneurs.
YEF is a youth empowered fund established by the Eswatini Government aimed at contributing to the reduction of youth unemployment through the provision of business capital for qualifying individuals, associations and companies. The main purpose of the Fund is to promote youth employment and alleviate poverty among young people between the ages of 18 to 35 years old. The details for applying are explained in the following image.
The current window of Applications has been open since the 3rd of February, and will be closing on the 7th of March. “Young entrepreneurs of Eswatini that require business finance are encouraged to take this opportunity and apply for funding”, reads a mesage on the YEF twitter page.
When accepted, the next cohort of entrepreneurs will also be provided with training to help improve their business development and management skills.
