MBABANE– Creating mathematics geniuses!
Siviwe Mabaso, who put Zamani Primary School at the top after making it to the top 10 in the Manzini Regional Mathematics competition is preparing for the National competition.
The Grade V pupil who scooped the third position will be a part of the upcoming National Contest Mathematics competition which will be held at Swazi National on June 3, 2023.
Maths Teacher Zwelabo Maziya said they were very proud of the pupil and hoped she would work harder for the National Contest.
“We are very proud of Siviwe. As your teachers, we challenge you to work harder and triumph in the National Contest. What you need to know is that your victory will be victory for the school and the region as well since you will be representing both,” said Maziya.
Head Teacher Emmanuel Dlamini thanked teachers for their tireless efforts, dedication and work ethic in preparing the pupils.
“I would like to thank all teachers, who always work tirelessly, effortlessly and dedicate themselves to ensure that students are taught.
“I hope all the students take a leaf and learn from pupils like Siviwe and dedicate themselves so they can excel in everything they do. We know that Siviwe will represent us well and wish her the best in the National Mathematics Competition which will be held next month.”
