24-HOUR CROSSOVER EVENT FOR NHLANGANO

MBABANE – Shiselweni get ready for a fun crossover and revival!

The Shiselweni Region is hosting a Crossover and New Year Revival event on December 31, 2022 and January 1, 2023.

The event is set to take place at the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium in Nhlangano.

During an interview with Event Coordinator Menzi Mtsetfwa, he revealed that the crossover and Revival event will be a 24-hour event.

“On December 31, 2022 from 12 midday to 12 midnight, we have a crossover event.

“The event will start at 9am where we will host a children event with live games, photo shoots, ruffle draw, motivational speeches, shisanyama, talent searches, fireworks and more.

Shongwe further mentioned that DJs would take to the stage from 9pm and usher fun lovers into the New Year.

“Our line-up is 100 per cent local. The event also seeks to empower talented and upcoming acts. DJs will take to the stage at 9pm and usher fun lovers into the New Year at 12 midnight and have a firework display.”

“Proceeds from the event will go to the Shiselweni Giving Time Campaign which will make donations to various organizations to start their year off in a better state or position,” said Mtsetfwa.

Mtsetfwa further mentioned that on January 1, 2023 there would be a New Year Revival service.

“The next day, January 1, 2023 there will be a New Year Revival service from 9am to 5pm.”

“The line-up includes the likes of Shiba and the Travellers, Frans T. Dlamini, Phetsile Masilela, Xolly Kunene and many more. The event will start at 9am to 5pm,” said Mtsetfwa.

Tickets are available at Pizza Club, Futis, Shoprite and Accredited ticket agents.

Pre-sale tickets cost E40 and E60 at the gate. VIP tickets cost E140. Cooler box entrance is E50.
