… After addressing advice from the people of Eswatini

LUDZIDZINI – “Here is Mmemo Russell Dlamini who was at the Eswatini National Disaster Management Agency, he is here to resolve all the disasters we are are experiencing, I appoint him for you the people. You will therefore pray for him that he does all his work well.”
These were the words of His Majesty King Mswati III when appointing the Prime Minister for the 12th Parliament at the 2023 Sibaya People’s Parliament today at the Ludzidzini Royal Residence.
“With these words, we say thank you as Sibaya has had great outcomes. We are seeing the rains, so let us all go home and plough our fields so that none may experience hunger next year. It has been great to see you good people,” said His Majesty when concluding his speech from the throne today.
His Majesty appointed Mmemo Russel Dlamini into the role of Prime Minister following week-long deliberations and advice from the public on what makes a good Prime Minister.
His Majesty notedt that the deliberations strongly influenced his decision when appointing Russel Dlamini as the new Prime Minister.
“The person who it became clear that you are requesting for as a Prime Minister through your many many submissions, is indeed the person who will take to urgently assisting the nation. The man, who has been appointed as per your prayers, is Mmemo Russell Dlamini”, said His Majesty when making the announcement.
