ACKERMANS DONATES E86k WINTER CLOTHES TO DPM

MBABANE – The Deputy Prime Minister’s Office (DPMO) on Friday (31-05-2024) received winter clothes worth over E86 000 from Ackermans Eswatini.

Handing over the donation to DPM Thulisile Dladla was Ackermans Manzini Stores Manager Musa Fakudze. Fakudze was accompanied by Bongekile Ginindza and Sabelo Tfwala from Matsapha and Manzini Lifestyle Centre, respectively.

Most of these donations were winter clothes which comprised of baby clothes, shoes, jackets, jeans and many others. They will be distributed to vulnerable children and the elderly in different centers including Mankayane Home for the Elderly and Disabled, Half-Way House and orphaned and vulnerable children in different communities.

The DPM was in full of excitement when receiving the clothes. She appreciated the kind gesture from Ackermans for the timely donation of winter clothes.

“I am really excited today. When I was told that you will be making a donation today, I had to clear my calendar to come personally to receive the clothes. All these will be given to deserving vulnerable people and they will be very happy,” she said.

On his remarks Fakudze emphasised that from time to time Ackermans Eswatini would make donations to the DPM’s office.
