MBABANE – The Eswatini Water and Agricultural Development Enterprise (EWADE) has completed two major projects aimed at improving the lives of communities in Lubombo region.
According to information posted on the EWADE Facebook page, the Potable Water Supply System (PWSS) projects implemented in Lusabeni (Under Nkilongo Constituency) and Gangakhulu (under Lubulini Constituency) have been successfully completed, serving a total of 690 households and 4 437 individuals.
The Lusabeni PWSS provides clean water access to 548 households and 2 962 individuals, while the Gangakhulu PWSS benefits 142 households and 475 people. The completion of these projects represents a major step forward in improving access to clean water in these communities.
According to information gathered by this publication, these projects were designed to prioritise private connection distribution, ensuring that households have direct access to safe water supply.
By making access to safe water a convenient and practical solution, these projects have significantly improved the health and quality of life for thousands of individuals in the Eswatini communities of Lusabeni and Gangakhulu. The successful completion of these initiatives is a testament to the EWADE’s commitment to sustainable water management and the well-being of Eswatini communities.
