MPOLONJENI – Former Joyous Celebration Choir member Gospel artist Londiwe Sphe Nxumalo of Ngenzelwe Isimanga hit song will headline the World Revival All Night Prayer.
It will be held on June 14 at Umbono Bet Crusade in Mpolonjeni.
The all-night prayer will kick off at 6pm until 6am. When reached for comment, Nxumalo confirmed that she would be in the country for the all-night prayer.
Local Gospel group Ndawonye Christ Worshippers will also perform. The all-night prayer will see different bishops take to the podium, namely Bishop BET Ntuli, Bishop S Ndzabandzaba, Bishop VN Gamedze, Apostle P.P. Matsenjwa, and Evangelist N. Nyawo.

Nxumalo won her first Crown Gospel Award last November for her song titled ‘Uphakeme Kakhulu.’ She won in the Best Gospel Itende category for her song titled Uphakeme kakhulu. Nxumalo also won other awards before, namely the Mpumalanga Gospel, Ingoma Awards, and Cape Town Gospel Awards in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
It is worth mentioning that Nxumalo left South African group Joyous Celebration Choir back in 2020, just after COVID-19 hit. Her hit song, ‘Ngenzelwe Isimanga,’ has been a massive success until today.
The award winner was born in Pongolo, but grew up in Eswatini. She later moved back to Pongolo to complete her studies.
She is the founder of An Iron Sharpens an Iron, which organises prayer camps to motivate prayer as a culture. She was introduced to the industry through a feature with Mxolisi Mbethe on a song titled ‘Hosanna.’ She later joined the Joyous Celebration in 2017, where she sang a song titled ‘Njengendluzela,’ and adding to that, she performed her first song titled ‘Akhonamandla.’ She has recorded an album titled ‘Ngenzelwe Isimanga,’ which was released on July 17, 2020. This album refers to her testimony, has been re-recorded as a live project with additional new songs, and was published on February 25 last year.
