Swati Tube is calling all EmaSwati to grab an opportunity of marketing themselves through the Swati Tube Channel.
The product has been launched under Africa AD Agency and is Swati owned. It is the first in the Kingdom to go online and partner with different stockholders globally.
Swati Tube is an online channel that aims to broadcast 80 per cent local content including movies, series, shows and music.
Swati Tube’s Creative Director Laurence Lukhele said it was hard to get content online in Eswatini and they were trying to bridge that gap by creating a platform where it could be broadcast.
“A lot of locals have shown interest from the day we announced it. We are still developing the website and we will soon have enough to launch it to stock holders,” he said.
Lukhele said that all EmaSwati who were interested could post a 30 second – one minute video on their timeline introducing themselves. Thereafter they should share a brief of what their business is all about and then tag Swati Tube.
“As the Swati Tube grows, we will give royalties to content creators which we will give further details on as well as most importantly, creating job opportunities, said Lukhele.
Lukhele closed off by saying they believed working with EmaSwati meant a sustainable partnership and deliver the best content in order to compete with the likes of Netflix.
