MBABANE – Bad Boys Actor Will Smith who landed in Botswana yesterday not only gushed about his first time in the country but also made mention of Eswatini.
Taking to his Instagram stories, accessed by over a million people Smith when in his hotel room unwinding started a live video where he said.
“So great to be in Africa, I know there are amazing countries here like Swaziland, South Africa and others. They are all amazing one day and who knows Jas might let me visit them,” he said on his Instagram live video.
Both South African and international media houses reported that Will Smith has touched down in Botswana and even though he is not alone with Jas Davis shooting footage for him, he promised ‘more to come’ after the video creator’s camera overheated.
In a snippet of their travels shared on social media, the actor lands before going on a safari.
“What if we get inspired and we want to ride an elephant?” he asked the ranger.
“No, you cannot ride an elephant,” he said, moments after Smith made a hero’s pose with the sun setting in the background. This is Smith’s first time in Botswana. It is unclear what the star is currently shooting, though he does have numerous projects in the works, including Bad Boys 4 and I Am Legend.
